Services

Custom software and practical AI, built around your business.

Three services that often work together. Every project starts small, proves its value, and grows from there. Every project is custom made and quoted after a free consult.

01

Custom software

Web applications designed and built for your business: client portals, internal systems and SaaS products, hosted in Australia and owned by you.

Who it's for

  • Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools
  • Founders who need a first version of a SaaS product that can grow
  • Teams whose customers keep asking 'where is my job up to?'

Typical deliverables

  • A working web application, usable on phones and desktops
  • Secure sign-in, roles and permissions
  • Integrations with your existing tools (accounting, CRM, email)
  • Australian hosting, backups and monitoring
  • Source code and documentation that you own

How an engagement usually runs

  • A short discovery phase to agree scope, risks and a first release
  • Built in small increments, with something you can click every week or two
  • Ongoing support and improvements on a monthly arrangement if you want it

02

AI integration and agents

AI features built into the tools you already use: document processing, drafting assistants and agents that complete multi-step tasks, with a person reviewing anything important.

Who it's for

  • Teams spending hours re-keying data from emails, PDFs and forms
  • Support or sales inboxes full of questions your policies already answer
  • Businesses that want to try AI without handing their data to a black box

Typical deliverables

  • Document extraction from PDFs, scans and emails into structured data
  • Drafting assistants that answer from your own documents, with sources
  • Agents that carry out multi-step tasks across your systems, with approval steps
  • Clear records of what the AI did and why, so results can be checked
  • Advice on privacy, data location and which AI providers fit your obligations

How an engagement usually runs

  • Start with a small, measurable pilot on one task
  • Run it alongside the current process until the results can be trusted
  • Expand to more tasks once the first one pays for itself

03

Automation and internal tools

Automations between the systems a business already uses, and internal tools and dashboards that replace spreadsheets and manual steps.

Who it's for

  • Businesses running on a patchwork of apps that don't talk to each other
  • Operations teams living in spreadsheets and copy-paste
  • Owners who want one dashboard instead of five logins

Typical deliverables

  • Integrations between your existing systems through their APIs
  • Scheduled jobs, reports and notifications that run themselves
  • Internal dashboards and admin tools for your team
  • Error alerts, so a broken integration is noticed, not discovered weeks later

How an engagement usually runs

  • Often a small fixed-scope project to begin with
  • Can grow into a larger internal system over time
  • Monitoring and maintenance available on a monthly arrangement

FAQ

Questions people ask first.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is custom made and tailored to your business, so there's no price list. We aim to be competitive for small businesses, and after a free consult you'll get a written quote with a clear first release before any work starts.

How long does it take?

Small automations can take days. A first release of a portal or internal system usually takes weeks, not months. You'll see working software early and often, rather than waiting for a big reveal.

Where is my data stored?

Applications Dextry hosts run in Sydney, with off-site backups also kept in Australia. Where a project uses an outside service, such as an AI model provider, you're told which one and where it processes data before anything is switched on.

Who owns the code?

You do. You get the source code and documentation, and you're free to take it to another developer at any time.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

It will, sometimes, which is why important outputs are reviewed by a person before they're acted on. Systems are designed to show their sources and flag low confidence, so mistakes are easy to catch.

Are we too small for custom software?

Not necessarily. If a task costs your team several hours a week, a small, focused tool can pay for itself quickly. The consult is the place to find out, and 'buy an off-the-shelf tool instead' is a perfectly good answer.

What happens after launch?

You can take the code and run it yourself, or keep Dextry on a monthly arrangement for hosting, monitoring, backups and improvements.
